Artwork Guidelines

To move your project into production, the art files need to be “print ready.”

Artwork needs to be correctly sized and placed. Everything should be set up correctly with high resolution images and bleeds (if applicable) for the job to be ready for print. Use the following guidelines for other requirements.

Exact Size

If you are printing on an 18” X 24” poster then the artwork should be created on an 18” X 24” canvas.

Bleeds

If artwork touches the edge of the sheet, adjust the art so there is at least an extra 1/8” (0.125”) so no paper is showing where there shouldn't be.

How to do this:

When creating the canvas, add 0.125” to the height and width. Remember that the outer 0.125” won't print but will ensure the art covers the edges.

Color

The color settings should be set to CMYK or Grayscale, we will not accept RGB.

Resolution

Images in the final output should be a minimum of 300 dpi, any scaling of the images will affect the output resolution even if the native file is set up correctly.

File Formats

We only accept High Resolution PDFs and JPEGs.

Proofs

Production time begins after the proof has been approved.
